The fourth edition retains all the chapters that had been well received in the previous editions. At the same time, we have added several new nursing procedures, topics, illustrations and system assessments which we hope will be useful for students and faculty alike. The table of contents has been rearranged according to the six specialities as well as section-wise and system-wise for easy browsing. The aim of this edition is to provide undergraduate nursing students in India the skills needed to practice in any setting and be successful.

The fourth edition of the procedure manual has the contents organized in six major nursing specialties as well as section-wise and system-wise arrangement of procedures as relevant to the subject.
The content has been prepared as per the Indian Nursing Council (INC) syllabus of both undergraduate and postgraduate students of nursing.
Special and related topics as legal, ethical and transcultural aspects of nursing practice have been added.
